I have been eyeing this 42inch Samsung plasma HDTV for a month now and I would really be happy if I get something like it for Christmas. I am hoping that my aunt from the U.S. would at least help me buy it (or give it to me as a gift) since she has been saying she will help me do so. And if I did I would certainly get those plasma mounts to go with it as well. Though I am still torn between LED and Plasma, well, we will see.
Michael Jackson’s Memorial Service
July 7, 2009, this will mark a great event in ths history, it is Michael Jacksons memorial service, only 17,500 lucky people will be able to get in to the Staples Center as their names were drawn for tickets good for 2 for the said event. It will be a star studded event to be attended by Mariah Carey, Lionel Ritchie, Kobe Bryant, Jennifer Hudson and some other celebrities, Liz Taylor had reported to have wrote on twitter that she will not be attending the memorial service. I was just shocked when I saw the news at CNN that some were believed to have had attempted to sell the tickets online on Ebay and Craigslist, I just think it is inappropriate because this was given for free and it is clearly taking advantage of the situation. I am just glad that they (Ebay & Craigslist) had done some measures on how to stop this foolishness and the people responsible should be ashamed of themselves.
Mirrors
Me and H watched the movie actually last week but I haven’t got the chance to blog about it, so here it goes.
The movie is actually a remake of a Korean feature GEOUL SOKEURO last 2003. Kiefer Sutherland played the role of Ben Carson an ex-detective which was removed from the service for the accidental death of a police officer which caused him to become an alcoholic, inorder for him to win his family back he applied as a night shift security guard on department store which closed out of business because of fire and is under litigation. He then discovers some malevolent spirit lurking behind its mirrors which were the main reason as well of the disappearance of the former night shift guard that he replaced, trying to save his family he then finds the person behind the cryptic message and is up for the horror of his life. Movie was directed by French director Alexander Aja.
Well, I am not going to give you every single detail though so that you would find it exciting to watch the movie still. The movie is not that great but it gave me the creeps and has made my 2 night sleepless and avoided mirrors for a while. Silly thought dont you think?
Body of Jennifer Hudson’s Nephew Confirmed
In my other blog I have written a post regarding the nephew of Jennifer Hudsons; Julian King (son of her sister Julia), which was found dead at the back of a white SUV owned by Jennifers brother Jason at a street in Chicago Illinois. The body has yet to be identified. Earlier, it has been confirmed by Jennifer Hudson herself that the body was indeed his nephews. It has been said that her nephew was kidnapped while Jennifers mother (Darnell Donerson) and brother Jason was shot to death in their Chicago home allegedly by Julian Kings stepfather William Balfour. another dg – scrap lay out
This is actually my nephew Eugene when he joined the Skate Asia competition at the SM Mall of Asia. He bagged the Gold Medal during this event. My sis in law C.A. Tque sent me some pictures and thought of making a layout out of it. This is just actually a simple lay out, I saved the PSD file of this so in case I would make certain modifications or additions would be just easy. I’ll just post it once done. Pugad Baboy is actually written in Tagalog and this book that I own is the 17th among his series/collection.
